To enhance the 2011/2012 school recycling program, we offer 3 great ways for schools to recycle:

1. FREE Bottle Drive Pick-Up Service

Bottle Drives are a great way to raise funds for any youth activity—last year, most of the bottle drives raised an average of $750-$2000, just for a few hours of work. This FREE pick-up service is available for Bottle Drives that plan to raise more than $500. Booking for bottle drives are done on a first come first serve basis.

2. FREE Regular Pick-Up Service

Using our FREE Regular Pick-up Service is a great way to collect bottles through the duration of your bottle drive. Containers can be picked up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or on-call basis. To use this FREE Pick-up Service, we require a minimum of 6 bags per pick-up.

3. Donation Account, At Two Bottle Depot Locations

Your school can open an account at both of our Nanaimo Bottle Depot locations . Parents, family, staff and friends can donate directly to your school account—all they have to do is say they want to donate their beverage containers to your school (of course, they will need to know your school name).
